I am a licensed naturopathic doctor, with over a decade of experience as a medical doctor (General Practitioner, Pediatrician) in Iran, and a medical research professional at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto.
As a Naturopathic Doctor with a background in conventional medicine, I integrate

evidence-based natural therapies with medical insight, to create care plans that are personalized, practical, and sustainable. Rather than treating symptoms in isolation, I focus on the whole picture: connecting symptoms, identifying root causes, and supporting your body’s ability to heal.
Many individuals come to my office feeling unheard and overlooked; told that everything appears “normal”, yet they don’t feel well. I take their concerns seriously, and provide care that is not only evidence-based, but also collaborative, compassionate, empowering, culturally sensitive, and grounded in traditional wisdom. While I have access to advanced diagnostics, targeted supplementation, and therapeutic nutrition, I apply these tools thoughtfully and with care. My goal is promoting your mind-body healing without overwhelming you with unnecessary testing, complicated protocols, or overly restrictive plans.
I commonly support women's health across all stages of life, child and adolescent health,  neurodiverse individuals with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Disorder, people with metabolic, hormonal, digestive, skin, and immune system issues, as well as weight management, healthy aging, and preventive medicine.
I received advanced mental health training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic. Mental-emotional wellbeing is central to my approach. I support individuals navigating anxiety, depression, stress, sleep problems, and emotional dysregulation.
When needed, I also collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure your care is truly comprehensive.
In addition to evidence-based naturopathic treatments such as clinical nutrition, lifestyle modifications, and herbal medicine, I incorporate Traditional Chinese Medicine and acupuncture to support balance, nervous system regulation, and overall vitality. These modalities allow me to address both physical and energetic aspects of health through an  integrative lens.
I am registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and a member of Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.

Dr. Rooya Nikfar, ND, is a licensed Naturopathic Doctor and graduate of the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine (CCNM) through the Bridge Program for International Medical Graduates. Prior to completing her naturopathic training in Canada, she worked for over a decade as a General Practitioner and Pediatrician in Iran, caring for individuals and families in hospitals, community clinics, and private practice.
With a foundation in both naturopathic and conventional medicine, she provides comprehensive, integrative care to patients of all ages. Her approach is rooted in compassion, clinical insight, and a commitment to identifying and addressing the root causes of illness.
Her clinical focus includes support for:

  • Metabolic syndrome (weight management, insulin resistance, high cholesterol, blood sugar imbalance)

  • Digestive health (IBS, GERD, bloating, food sensitivities)

  • Stress management (chronic stress, anxiety, fatigue)

  • Chronic skin conditions (eczema, psoriasis, acne)

  • Women’s health (hormonal imbalances, menstrual health)

  • Pediatric care (growth and development, acute and chronic childhood conditions)

She draws on a range of naturopathic tools—including clinical nutrition, botanical medicine, acupuncture, lifestyle counseling, mind-body techniques, and targeted supplementation—to help patients restore balance and build long-term resilience.
Her mission is to support individuals and families in achieving optimal health and well-being by addressing the whole person—body, mind, and spirit—and empowering them with the knowledge and tools to thrive.
