Naturopathic Doctor, College of Naturopaths of Ontario

Internationally-trained Physician (Pediatrician), Iran

Research Professional, The Hospital for Sick Children, Toronto (2012-2019)

Dr. Sholeh Ghayoori, ND is an international medical graduate and registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario.

I started my professional journey as a medical doctor (pediatrician) in my home country, where I practiced for over a decade. I continued my career in the field of medical research at the Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids) in Toronto, and contributed to the research on drug safety in breastfeeding, pharmacogenomics, thyroid cancer, and diabetes education.

Choosing naturopathic medicine has been a significant development in my professional career. Through my years of experience, I learned that improvement in health and  quality of life is possible when the individual’s physical, mental, and spiritual aspects are connected, balanced, and addressed altogether. It can happen only by way of a holistic approach to illness, which is tailored and unique to the needs of each person.

My practice is geared towards helping my patients to look for the deeper root causes of their symptoms, supporting their physical and mental health as a whole unit, and empowering them with tools and knowledge to take charge of their own health.

I received advanced mental health training at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, Robert Schad Naturopathic Clinic.  By using a mind-body approach, and integrative treatment modalities such as clinical nutrition, lifestyle modifications, botanical medicine, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), and acupuncture, I offer personalized care to enhance both physical and mental wellbeing for my patients in a safe and non-judgemental environment.

I am registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario, and a member of Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, and Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors.
